Synopsis of AISI 316 Stainless Steel Balls:

Un-hardened austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance to sea water, dilute nitric, sulphuric and acetic acids, photo chemicals, inks, bleaches, dyes etc.

Is drillable / can be machined.

 

Typical Uses of AISI 316 Balls:

Marine and chemical process plant, cutlery and food use.

 

Attracted to Magnets: No but may show response to magnets after cold working

 

Available Grades: 50, 100, 500 & 1000
